WHY DO TEETH GET STAINED?
Most stains are caused by smoking, drinking tea, coffee and red wine. Age is also a major factor. Teeth discolouration can also be caused by certain antibiotics, excessive fluoride and thinning of tooth enamel.
WHY SHOULD I USE THE GET WHITER TEETH SYSTEM?
At Get Whiter Teeth UK we use identical techniques, materials and whitening gels as used by dentists, who would charge you £350 - £450 for the exact same treatment. Simply by eliminating a visit to the dentist the cost of the treatment is vastly reduced. Dentists have massive mark up on products to cover their overheads, by taking the impression yourself you deal direct with the technician.
HOW DOES THE WHITENING PROCESS WORK?
Bleaching/whitening gel is put into a custom made tray, which is then placed over your teeth. The active ingredient in the gel carbamide peroxide is broken down into water molecules and oxygen ions. These oxygen ions enter the tooth enamel and change the molecular structure of the stain molecules, not removing them but changing their colour. The structure of the tooth enamel is not altered. The trays can be worn overnight or during the day for between 2 to 4 hours for 5 to 10 days.
IS IT SAFE?
Yes this is a home bleaching/whitening system specially designed to be simple to use. Many years of research indicate that using carbamide peroxide to whiten teeth is safe and effective.
HOW QUICKLY WILL I SEE RESULTS?
You will start to see results almost immediately after one or two applications. After 5 to 10 days your teeth will be permanently whitened several shades lighter.
DO ALL TEETH GET WHITENED?
Whitening will only occur on natural teeth. Badly stained teeth will achieve a greater level of whitening. Crowns and veneers will have stains removed, but will not whiten more than their original colour.
WHICH GEL SHOULD I USE?
We supply 10% and 17% carbamide peroxide bleaching/whitening gel. The most popular choice is 1 x 10% and 3 x 17% but if you have sensitive teeth choosing more 10% may be a better option.
WHAT IS SENSITIVITY?
Your teeth may become temporarily more sensitive to hot and cold. All sensitivity will cease 24 – 48 hours after completion of the treatment.
CAN I USE STRONGER BLEACHING/WHITENING GEL THAN YOU SUPPLY?
The reason we supply 10% and 17% gel is in a word SAFETY. A dentist would not recommend any higher percentage gel for a home use system. Higher percentage gels can lead to extreme teeth sensitivity and cause gum irritation. Do not be fooled into thinking higher percentage bleach means whiter teeth this is not the case. It is more likely that higher percentage bleaches will cause more problems
WHY IS THIS SYSTEM BETTER THAN OVER THE COUNTER PRODUCTS?
Over the counter products simply do not work as well, they do not use the same quality gel and the trays are not custom made. This means that the gel is not held close enough to the teeth, which in turn leads to poor results. Toothpastes will remove superficial stains but will not whiten teeth. The only way to effectively whiten teeth is to use carbamide peroxide gel is a custom made tray, the same as you receive from a visit to the dentist.
CAN ANYONE USE THIS SYSTEM?
We recommend that pregnant women and nursing mothers do not use this system. Anyone taking medication should be advised by their GP. Anyone under 18 years old should not use this system.
ARE THERE ANY HIDDEN COSTS?
You pay £99 for the complete treatment i.e. stage 1 and stage 2. Post and packaging is free as are replacement bleaching/whitening trays. £99 is all you pay.

You will be transferred to a secure Protx web page and asked for your Credit Card Number, The type of card you are using, your name as printed on the card, Valid from and Expiry dates, Issue Number and Security codes.
Your credit card will be checked to make sure you have given the correct details and that your card is not over it’s spending limits or reported as stolen.
You will be asked to click the Proceed button this will charge £99 to your credit card.
If your payment goes through you will be given the details of your transaction as a web page and also as an email. You will need to make a note of these details for your records. £99 will be charged to your credit card.
If your payment does not go through you will still get details of your transaction but no money will be taken from your credit card.
We will get confirmation of your order and post out the first stage of your teeth whitening kit within 24 hours.
