On receipt of your order we will send out to you within 24 hours, the first stage of the Get Whiter Teeth system. This comprises enough dental putty to take three impressions, four impression trays and full instructions on how to take your own impression.
Step One
Take one portion of each coloured putty and knead together until a uniform colour is achieved. This takes about 20 seconds. The putty will soon start to set.
Step Two
Roll the impression material into a 2-inch sausage shape and place into the upper impression tray, pressing lightly to make sure the whole tray is full with slightly more putty towards the front of the tray.
Step Three
In front of a mirror, place the tray in your mouth positioning your upper teeth over the two edges of the tray.
Step Four
Push up the impression tray with your thumbs firmly, do not bite down and hold in place for 2½ minutes. Do not talk or try to adjust the tray once it has been pushed into position, as this may distort the impression.
Step Five
Slowly remove the tray by gently pulling down and then take out of your mouth. Inspect the impression, making sure the impression clearly shows the tips of your teeth and the gum line.
Step Six
Repeats steps one to five for your lower teeth. Extra impression material is included, just in case either impression has been distorted.
Step Seven
Place both impressions into the pre paid bag, fill in the information sheet and choose any combination of 10% and 17% whitening gels to make up your 4 syringes. Post it back to us. We will construct your custom made whitening trays and send the second stage of the Get Whiter Teeth System to you within 48 hours of receipt.
Step One
Clean teeth as normal and floss.
Step Two
Apply a small amount of gel (about the size of a lentil) into the front ten teeth of your tray, making sure the gel blob is in the centre of each tooth facing.
Step Three
Place the tray in your mouth and wipe away excess gel with your finger or a toothbrush. If you have had to wipe excess gel off, this means too much was applied. Remember this for your next application.
Step Four
The trays can be worn overnight or during the day for between 2 and 4 hours.
Step Five
After each application simply wash the tray out with cold water and a toothbrush.
Step Six
Leave your tray to dry and then put it back into its storage container.
Step Seven
Keep all whitening gel refrigerated.
It is recommended that only one whitening tray is used at a time. The whole treatment will take between 5 to 10 days depending on how badly stained your teeth are and which concentration of gel you use and the length of time the trays are worn. Teeth will be permanently whitened, although citrus fruits, smoking, drinking red wine and drinks such as coke may slow down the whitening process. Whitened teeth can be topped up usually after about six months. If sensitivity is experienced reduce the amount of gel applied to the tray and the length of time the tray is kept in your mouth. All sensitivity will subside 24 – 48 hours after whitening treatment is completed.
All models will be retained by us in the event of a tray being lost or damaged simply contact us and we will construct a new one and send it to you absolutely free.
